Galah or Rose-Breasted Cockatoo-Eolophus=Cacatua roseicapillus

Size-13 to 15 inches

Weight-330 to 430 grams

Description-Upperparts of wings are a soft gray, paler on the rump and under wing coverts and around the vent and undertail coverts. Tail darker gray, lower half of head, the nape, underparts and under wing coverts are pink. Beak is bone colored.

Origin-Australia, Tasmania

Pet Quality-When acquired young they make excellent pets, they are not as nervous as some other species and are usually independent but some can be affectionate to their favorite person. They usually learn some words.
